Hi Melissa,

Terrific post, as usual!

I have a question for you. You mentioned that sometimes, "it’s simply a faulty third party Application that is abusing its control." In case I'm ever hacked, is there an easy way to identify all of the third party applications associated with my accounts? Is that information stored somewhere on each of the social networks?

Thanks!
Brad

Great question Brad, and yes there are!

If ever you find yourself in this type of unfortunate situation, simply go to the following links and delete or deny access to any fishy apps that you're unsure of:

Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/bookmarks/apps

Twitter: https://twitter.com/settings/applications

Google+: https://www.google.com/settings/general (though I don't think many people have third party apps on this network… yet.)

Thanks for stopping by and asking this great question, Brad!
