As we recently saw with Emory University Hospital and the Ebola controversy, healthcare institutes have a major responsibility and role to play in some serious, high-impacting crises. Emory did a beautiful job at managing this crisis, but not all healthcare institutes are as prepared as Emory was.
On September 17th and 18th 2014, Melissa Agnes, President and co-founder of Agnes + Day, will be presenting a two-day workshop on social media for crisis and emergency management for healthcare at the GCC Government Social Media Summit in Dubai.

A few words from Melissa Agnes
“Social media is a powerful crisis communication and emergency management tool for the healthcare sector. I’m really looking forward to presenting at the GCC Government Social Media Summit to help the healthcare industry harness the opportunities that social media presents to them, as well as prepare for and prevent the risks that currently – and rightfully – concern them.
