As bully awareness month comes to a close, I found myself reflecting on our efforts to create awareness over the last 30 days. Between what has been written and shared, we’ve managed to compile some good resources here. I thought it might be nice to close up this month’s series on bully awareness with a round-up of some awesome articles and resources.
HOWEVER, just because bully awareness month is coming to a close, doesn’t mean that the issue of bullying and cyberbullying is. This issue will continue to be a crisis for all of those victimized by this type of verbal and psychological abuse in November, December, 2014 and, unfortunately, beyond. So, continue to inform yourselves, educate others and take the actions within your power to protect the young people in your life.
Note: For those of you wanting to do more than simply read, write and share – no matter what that something may be – see the end of this post for more information on how you can become part of the solution!
